6_1bOur R&D department has a big technical competence in developing and producing in-house hardware and software solutions especially for gas burning appliances. We have more than 20 boards in the market certified according to EN298 standard.

Our development process starts with analysis and discussing the functional specifications of the product with our customer. Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) is done for hardware and software designs, in order to identify potential failure modes at the beginning of the project and to reduce development time. We select the best components to supply optimal solutions to the product and we have a big competence in fast prototyping of new products. Strict laboratory tests are applied on the prototypes to obtain robust products at the end of the project. These tests start with EMC test device (EMC Partner Transient-2000) located in our laboratory. EFT, SURGE, ESD and DIPS tests are applied higher than the standard requirements to assure the best immunity level on the product and also to avoid the problems occurring during CE certification process.

7_2bHighly accelerated life test assuring at least 250.000 cycles is applied on the prototypes. This life test is done automatically with a special test setup designed in-house. 225.000 cycles are done at nominal temperature and nominal supply voltage. 12.500 cycles are done at 0°C and 175V, and the last 12.500 cycles are done at 80°C and 275V. Climatic test cabinet (Nüve ID300) in our laboratory is used for the thermal stress and humidity tests. Thermal analysis is also done on the electronic components on the board with thermal camera during life test.

Our R&D department has a deep know-how on software development of gas burning appliances control. We assure high safety standards and high reliability by C-class type software structure.

Design verification tests are completed with functional tests and optimizations according to customer demands. These tests are done on a specific R&D test bench (Microplan). New products are installed into the customer appliance and all functionalities are tested with real loads, under different operating conditions, with gas and water. Modulation is optimized according to customer requirements by using the specific data acquisition system installed on the test bench.
